Weekly Round Up

At the weekend the League Cup Round 2 match between Longwell Green Sports and Gala Wilton, which was originally due to be played as long ago as 22nd November, was postponed yet again.

However, Wotton Rovers’ pitch was fit and they entertained Thornbury Town. But it was Thornbury who took the honours winning 4-0 with two goals from debutant James Loud, and Will Howard and Dave Tweed scoring the others.

The two midweek games at Forest Green Rovers and Yate Town fell foul of the weather yet again.
